The Candidates may note that the seat matrices of NITs have been slightly modified in compliance with the orders of the Hon’ble High Court of J & K at Jammu (W. P. No. 550/2008 & CMP 837/2008) and Hon’ble High Court of Calcutta circuit Bench at Port Blair (W.P.No. 163 of 2008) and Hon’ble High Court at Goa (W.P. No. 348/2008).

All the candidates are hereby informed that under orders of different Hon'ble High Courts, the details of which may be seen here, seats allotted to the candidates are subject to final outcome of Writ Petitions pending before these courts.
